Quotes and pricing
Is the price fixed?
Yes. The written price is what you pay unless you change the scope, for example by adding a room. Any change is agreed in writing first.
Can you give me a rough price without a visit?
Often, yes. Send photos and room sizes through the quote form and we’ll give you a ballpark range, then confirm it on the visit.
The job itself
Do I need to move furniture?
No. We move and cover furniture and protect the floors. We just ask you to put away small items, valuables and anything fragile.
Can we stay at home while you paint?
Usually, yes. We work room by room so the rest of the house stays usable.
What happens if it rains?
We only paint exteriors in suitable weather. If rain is forecast we move outdoor work and keep going inside where we can.
Paint and colours
Can you help us choose colours?
Yes. We bring sample boards to the visit and test colours in your light.
Do I need council approval to change exterior colours?
It depends on the property. Homes in heritage conservation areas can need approval for external colour changes. We check and flag it in your quote if it applies.
